Frigid: After much time spent waiting for the official floor installer to come to Claire's parents place, the call came that it wouldn't happen until after Christmas...so today Claire and I started to lay the cork. It went smoothly until as usual my father's genes in me took over and I sliced a good portion of the side of my baby finger off. Not enough to go for stitches but 3 hours later it is still bleeding...that is the way I do things. But, after several comments about how I "should wear gloves" we did get 1/2 of the floor laid and the rest will get put down tomorrow, well before Christmas, and that will finally complete the kitchen reno that started at the beginning of October.
