Skating in the Old Port: Much to everyone's concern, Claire and some other guys went skating in the old port on Sunday. The concern of course was that Claire in her state would crack the ice...I mean fall and hurt herself or "the baaaby". Luckily none of these events took place and we had an enjoyable if chilly time skating around and around the paddle boat pond. Claire finds skating on anything but the Rideau Canal is more than a bit boring. "Weren't we just here 3 minutes ago?" Thankfully we were there with fun friends to keep her entertained. Unfortunately we left the pond just as the Zamboni was preparing for the evening party which was kicked off by MJ's Thriller! Andrew was tempted to rent another pair of skates just to do the Zombie line dance on ice.
