Beast of the East: Oscar and I had a weekend together as Claire went off to Quebec City with Andrew. We decided to go watch a big roller derby tournament here in MTL called the Beast from the East and it was quite fun. I managed to take a couple of shots and the low light added to the motion of the sport. It real is a very physical and aggressive battle out there in the oval and I was impressed with the hits that were being dished out.
Claire had a fun weekend and I survived a night of Oscar's sickness and am still a bit tired (that said I know I still owe her for all of my time alone recently).
